About Me
Who I Am and What I Do
Justin Moody
I began learning website development in 2002 and immediately fell in love with it. The process of turning graphics and text into a website still amazes me even today. After mastering all aspects of HTML and CSS, I decided to give myself a real challenge and started learning PHP in 2006. This fueled my passion for web development even more, as creating a website now seemed to have no limit except my imagination. At that point, I knew that this was the career I wanted.
In 2009, I decided to put my acquired skills to the ultimate test. With the help of my colleagues, I co-founded and developed Player Affinity, an entertainment journalism website offering news, reviews and featured articles on a wide array of categories. Construction began with Subdreamer CMS, a versatile Content Management System, to which I made numerous modifications. Not only did the website become an online sensation, but it also caught the attention of Subdreamer CMS' owner. Now, their software offers many modifications that originated from Player Affinity and I continue to contribute work to their software development.
I began offering freelance website services in January of 2010. Since then, I have provided dozens of websites for happy clients, one being the Gonnella Baking Company, a Chicago bakery established in 1886. I continue to provide high quality products to my clients and contribute innovations in website development.

This website was a full design and slicing using the latest HTML and CSS validated code with CSS3 custom font support for all browsers. A jQuery drop-down menu was included and the design was implemented into a CMS to allow easy modification for content writers.

This client already had an existing website, but wanted a shopping cart customized to sell their bread online. I implemented Magento as the shopping cart with a custom FedEx shipping module to determine when a customer's order would ship based upon the day and time of purchase.

With the help of my co-founder and colleague, Alon Blum, we designed, coded and launched this fully custom entertainment website in 2009. Last Year, this website finished stong with over 7,000 articles and 25 million views.

After our initial consultation, I designed this website to her exact specifications and launched it in a week, while staying within her budget.

This website was custom built by another developer, but was incomplete and attempts to reach this creator were unsuccessful. I modified his code to add in important functions for finding properties and viewing location images.
